This new device reduces the weight the gymnast holds while training the Iron Cross, Maltese, and Planche. Gymnasts and athletes from others sports as well can greatly benefit from arm, chest, and shoulder exercises, as they can do a full range of motions through all positions of the cross or planche with less effort. This allows gymnasts to feel the optimum position they need to be able to hold.

The Iron Cross trainer allows for multiple reps to be performed safely, which greatly reduces the risk of injury and the time with which a gymnast can learn an iron cross on rings. The cross trainer is easily adjusted so that athletes can increase or decrease resistance as they gain strength or choose to have a light-weight training session. The cross trainer is perfect for gymnasts of all levels. Comes complete with a nylon rope and clip so it can be hung from the rings, high bar, stall bars or any secure overhead device. Add one to your gym's strength training circuit or take home a pair to get in the extra cross training you need.
