My daughter started with the velcro hot shot grips. They sat in her closet for all JO6 until she finally was forced to use them for JO7. She has since moved to the single buckle version and now the double buckle as her requirements on bars increased. She loves them! She has really small hands to these were perfect for her. She only needs 1 day to break them in effectively. We will stay with these as long as we can.
