Measuring 48" x 48" and 12cm thick, this mat provides the required minimum 4' x 4' padding between the end of the beam and the under-beam matting, as outlined in the 2025–2026 USA Gymnastics Rules and Policies. Hook-and-loop fasteners on the top of two sides allow it to connect directly to the 416227 (8' x 15' 6" x 12cm) mat, forming a tight, seamless system. The updated 416227 mats include additional top hook & loops specifically to integrate with these 4' x 4' beam mats for a secure attachment.
