Wagon Wheel

The Wagon Wheel by BarnBuilt is a large, interactive rotation obstacle designed to bring pulley-driven movement and creative rig mechanics into your course design.

Mounted to pipe using a heavy-duty pillow block bearing, the Wagon Wheel spins smoothly in place while maintaining the strength needed for controlled load applications. Its wheel-shaped frame features spoke openings that athletes use to generate rotation by moving their hands between the spokes, creating a natural and engaging winch-style motion.

Wrapped around the sides of the wheel is a durable rope system that winds as the wheel is turned. This rope can be attached to other obstacles within your rig, allowing athletes to actively lift, pull, or reposition connected elements through a pulley effect. By rotating the wheel, athletes effectively “winch” the tethered obstacle into motion, opening the door for highly interactive course designs.

The Wagon Wheel pairs especially well with trolley systems, pipe coasters, and dynamic obstacles like the Garage Door, turning static elements into responsive, athlete-driven challenges. The Wagon Wheel fits 1.5" ID (1.90" OD) pipe.
