Reisport Hyper ProTec Double Buckle Grips - Uneven Bar

My daughter goes through grips pretty quickly and in the past has had some other brands tear on her. These grips are very high quality and she has not had a tearing issue BUT two times now the grips we got had a broken buckle prior to ever using them. I order two sets at once so that my daughter will have a backup pair. The last time she had the buckle issue she didn't notice until a couple of months after I ordered them. Going forward she knows to check for a broken buckle right away. Still a great product, just need to watch out for that.

I got these for my daughter after another brand of grips she had been using for years tore while she was on the bars. These ones are thicker and seem stronger than the ones she was previously using. I actually bought her a couple of different pairs to try out. These were the only ones that she felt were going to meet her needs. She is a fairly strong athlete and does put a lot of stress on the grips. These might be overkill for a smaller gymnast or a lower level gymnast since they do cost a bit more. That being said, I think they are well worth the extra cost if/when your gymnast gets to the higher levels and is doing skills that put a lot of stress on the grips.
