Flying Squirrel

The Flying Squirrel by DGS Ninja puts a unique twist on the classic trapeze by splitting it into two independently swinging arms. Instead of holding a single bar, athletes grip inward-facing steel handles mounted to separate arms, creating an unstable, dynamic obstacle that demands coordination, timing, and body control.

Each arm slides onto a pipe and rotates independently using an embedded polymer bearing for smooth, consistent movement. The independent action forces athletes to control each side individually, making every swing, catch, and transfer more technical than a traditional trapeze.
