WNL World Championships 2024

DGS Ninja was the proud course sponsor for the World Ninja League (WNL) Season 9 World Championships. The event was an incredible showcase of athleticism, determination, and community spirit, and we’re incredibly grateful to be a part of this community and to do our part in making it a success.

Setting Up for Success

On Monday, June 17, our team arrived in Greensboro, North Carolina with trucks loaded to the brim and eager to get started. We were fortunate to collaborate with WNL’s exceptional rig team, working hand-in-hand to ensure that all of the rigs and every obstacle was perfectly set up and thoroughly tested. Check out our YouTube video below where we documented everything behind the scenes.

Lights, Camera, Action!

By Thursday night, the stage was set and everything was ready for the athletes to arrive. It was four days full of buzzers, amazing performances, and so much excitement. The energy was palpable, with competitors from all over the world eager to take on the course.

New Obstacles Debut

We were thrilled to introduce many new obstacles through out the different stages of the event. Stage One featured  Spring StepsWindshield WiperMetal CaneBurning RubberSword, and the Beetle. Stage Two included Tilting BoardsOrange SliceTik TokGuillotineThunderClap, and Gear. Stage Three challenged competitors with the Hang ClimbDoor PunchPeg CloudPaddle CliffDoor DropRotating Vertical Limit, and Revolvers. Skills showcased the new Slide Box obstacle. Team DGS Ninja

Several Team DGS Ninja members competed at the event, including Conor Galvin, Abby Clark, Taylor Johnson, Joe Capo, Charlie Ball, Addy Herman, and Tom Alberti. In the Elite Female Division, Abby Clark achieved an impressive 2nd place overall and 3rd in Strongest Ninja, while Addy Herman secured 4th place overall and 25th in Strongest Ninja. In the Elite Male Division, Tom Alberti excelled with a 3rd place overall finish and 4th in Strongest Ninja. Conor Galvin placed 36th overall and 50th in Strongest Ninja, and Joe Capo finished 76th overall and 128th in Strongest Ninja. Taylor Johnson delivered a stellar performance, placing 2nd in both the Adult Female Division and Strongest Ninja. In the Teen Male Division, Charlie Ball ranked 9th overall and 7th in Strongest Ninja.

Additionally, two of our Team DGS Ninja members, Aidan Wood and Matt Bradley, contributed their expertise behind the scenes as part of the WNL rig team. Matt was also the course designer for the competition. 

Looking Ahead

This year's World Ninja League World Championships was such an amazing event, with athletes showcasing their incredible talents and making history on the course. As the title sponsor, DGS Ninja was proud to provide all of the obstacles and equipment used in the event. We are so grateful to support such an inspiring, vibrant, and passionate community. We are proud of our partnership with WNL and we look forward to what is in store for the future.
