DGS Ninja obstacles have a difficulty level listed under their product description to help you choose the right obstacles for your ninja’s needs and skill level. The difficulty levels range from "rookie" to "advanced", with each level offering a different set of challenges.

Rookie

The Rookie level is perfect for younger athletes or those who are new to the sport. These obstacles are designed to focus on building confidence and basic skills. Some examples of rookie-level obstacles include:

  • Hanging Trapeze: The Hanging Trapeze obstacle is an excellent training tool for ninjas looking to work on laches and increase their grip strength, a fundamental ninja move. This obstacle can be set up in the backyard or basement for convenient at home ninja training.
  • Padded Swing: Practice balance with the Padded Swing. This obstacle includes four specially made nylon straps that have sewn-on loops every 12", making it easy to adjust the swing to different heights. For greater stability, use all four straps, or for a more challenging obstacle, use only two. Ninjas must step and swing on to the next obstacle.
  • Peg Grasper: The Peg Grasper is a multi-use obstacle that functions as a door knob, ring toss, fit a peg, and more! This obstacle is perfect for ninjas with backyard or basement set-ups due to its multi-functionality and small footprint. Pair with pegs or rings to get the most out of them.

Intermediate

The Intermediate level is designed for ninjas who have mastered the basics and are looking for a bit more of a challenge. These obstacles are more difficult than the rookie-level obstacles, but they are still accessible to most ninjas. Some examples of Intermediate-level obstacles include:

  • Airmail: Ninjas fly through the air with the Airmail and secure its two wings onto sky hooks, pipes, and more! For added versatility, the obstacle is also equipped with strap holes, offering the choice to hang it from straps too. Choose between two Special Delivery slot sizes according to preferred difficulty.
  • The Peg Ball: This dynamic 6” grip features a hole on the side that is designed to be used with 1.25” pegs. Ninjas can palace multiple Peg Balls in a grip route for an engaging training experience and upper body workout. This hold has the signature Monstro sandy texture on the outside.
  • Fidget Spinner: The Fidget Spinner is a multi-use obstacle that ninjas can jump to and then use to swing. It can hang with straps and be used multiple different ways.

Advanced

The Advanced level obstacles are designed for high-level, experienced ninjas. These obstacles are difficult and designed for elite ninjas. Some examples of advanced-level obstacles include:

  • Coffin: This obstacle is perfect for working ninjas working on their coffin laches. It is designed to be used backwards!
  • Cheese Wheel: Don’t be fooled by the simple appearance, this obstacle will put any ninja’s grip strength to the test. Choose between an 18mm and 9 mm Vertical Limit.
  • Bolt Cutters: This is a handheld obstacle that can be used to latch on to pipes, rings, or skyhooks. They put ninja’s grip strength and upper body strength to the test

No matter what your athlete's skill level is, DGS Ninja has an obstacle that'll fit their needs!
